Graver Farms in Bath PA produces excellent grass-fed beef. I purchased my last two from Janice outstanding.
She can be found at the Bath Farmer's Market most Friday afternoons.

Excellent suggestion psurangers, but Kutztown is in Berks county. Great if one lives on the western edge of Lehigh county.

Ah.. yes I didn't even think of their exact location because I still consider Kutztown "local" and part of LV even though they technically are not... but there's no doubting Rodale is numero uno for anyone looking to go organic!

If I may ask, how much was it? What did you get for that price? Beef is so expensive now - a leg of lamb was cheaper at the store the other day than LONDON BROIL. I about fell over...

How does the fact that the meat is frozen impact the taste? That always kind of deterred me from purchasing the 1/4 cow. I guess I just need to go to the store and buy a frozen piece of meat and see for myself.
