Hi, I got a job offer from Amzon at Easton PA. I will start working in a month. I would like to purchase a house but we don't have enough time to do that. Our plan is that we will rent an apartment for a year and try to find a house. We have no idea what areas are good to stay. We love to have nice and safe neighbors. We don't have any kid but planning to have next year. She's X-tech so better to be close to a hospital to have potential work. Could you suggest anything?

I sincerely hope the position is a mangement position. I would not move to the area just for a standard jabroni warehouse job. If this is the case i recommend the area by Amazon. Palmer Township.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, it's not a warehouse job and it's part of manegment.

My wife and I will go to Easton PA and will check up some apartment comlex. It will be in Plamer Township, Lafayette Towers Apartments, The Park in Wlison, George St Easton, Johnston Dr and Livingston St Bethlehem.

1. Are there any areas should be avoided?

2. I realize aptment cost is more expensive than Pittsburgh. How much rent would be reasonabile in those area? There price ranges are from $900 ~ $1300 per month

Thanks

If you move anywhere that sends its kids to the Easton Area School District, you'll want to move again before those future kids become school age.

My suggestion - stay away from Livingston St. To much trouble going on over there. Looks nice on the surface and there are good people living on that street but the bad out way the good. Johnston Dr. area is nice.
