This is a very bad idea. I was looking into moving to Philly from the Bronx and have been dissuaded by how long it takes. I would try moving to Newark or something. Rent in the Bronx is much less than $1900.

Thank you guys for all the replies well after long research and many hours of driving in my taxi in the most uncommon areas for a taxi from nyc to be
I have to say i love PA but you guys are just too far, so i picked a new place in keyport, nj which is only 1150 a month and about 40 miles to Manhattan and i have driven this area before so it seems like a better choice. I have to say though PA is definitely where i will be buying a house hopefully not driving for a living for the rest of my life in the city. Much more laid back there.

Most people who commute from PA don't do it for rent, but they go that far to own a house, for better schools, etc.

I have to say i love PA but you guys are just too far, so i picked a new place in keyport, nj which is only 1150 a month and about 40 miles to Manhattan and i have driven this area before so it seems like a better choice. I have to say though PA is definitely where i will be buying a house hopefully not driving for a living for the rest of my life in the city. Much more laid back there.
