I'm a bit of a satellite image junkie, so needless to say I'm thrilled with the birds'-eye view feature offered by MSN Virtual Earth and am happily awaiting the addition of more cities onto the list for the street-view feature.

Here are some images I have taken off of MSN Virtual Earth. I welcome others to contribute as well. I used a program called MWSnap 3 to take a snapshot of the satellite image, and then I saved it and uploaded it to my PhotoBucket account. I then linked it to this forum.

Enjoy!

EASTON

Dam at the Confluence of Lehigh & Delaware Rivers

Center (Centre?) Square

Lafayette College

Amid the "ghetto" that you people love to portray Easton as, I managed to find quite a few affluent households.

These are a few of my "dream" neighborhoods. With this much soul, charm, and appeal, how on Earth can Easton be so ill-regarded?

I'm guessing this is the Northampton County Courthouse?

A beautiful downtown church.

Northampton Street, just west of Centre Square.

I LOVE Flat Iron Buildings! Orgasm!

EWWWW!!! I can't even tell which one is the ugliest! That last one is the ultimate in lack of taste.

Prison?

What's with this fenced-in paved lot next to the church? The gate doesn't look to be large enough for cars, and there are no pavement markings. Did they really pave over an old cemetery or something (shudder!)

These are awesome! I'm off to live.com to find some of my own. You're right about the courthouse and the prison. I wonder what's up with that paved area. My guess is that it's a parking lot / playground. Are that suburban sprawl over by Stone's Crossing?
