California Guys, lol, they can sip win but dont know how to change a tire. They can buy fancy suits but hire some one to fix things in the house. Maybe the type of "guy" your looking for you should stay in Cali.

I may get trashed for this, but it always seemed women in or around Lexington always went for either rednecky guys or that sorta past his prime aging jock who played high school football type guy.

I've noticed this statewide. It's the redneck, jock-past-his-prime, or hillbilly. I notice it more here since I live in a Lexington exurb.
Of course, Lexington attracts people, mostly students, from all over the world so the above statement is only a generality.

Looks like I might be moving back soon, if I do look me up! I'm 35, single with no kids, professional, financially stable and while I may not have "California-style" looks, I'm nowhere near as pretentious, pompous, self-absorbed or brain-dead as my west-coast male counterparts! (Though I must admit that I do love the Sunset Strip in L.A., Lexington could use a Rainbow Bar and Grill but they'd have no idea what to do with it.)

We'll I'm 29 with a boyfriend who fits the stereotype above just slightly. My boyfriend is an ex professional baseball player (minor) and he is def. "a good ole boy" but can go to the Signature Club anytime. Does that make sense? I will tell you why there aren't IMO a lot of gorgeous men in Lexington. BECAUSE most Lexington girls look for quality personalities and are not so much concerned about what you wear...Now I want a well dressed man, but I don't like the spikey, slightly greased hair with the stonewashed designer jeans and some button down with a tan that looks like he stepped out of the gym. I'll tel you why- for the most part- they are cheaters and jerks. I have dated plenty and did my best to bring them all down to reality, which I don't think matterd much to them. All of my girlfriends for the most part are hot. One is a swimsuit model, has been in all kinds of magazines, was on the UK hockey poster, few others have cheered professionaly, etc. you get the point. My advice- go for the average looking guys with one hell of a personality, they are the best. These girls date the "hot" guys and they are all too stuck on themselves to treat someone with respect. Also, men in Lexington have a lot of women to chose from and I think it goes to their heads. Now, for all the devils advocates out there, I do realize that there are incredibily "hot" good guys. But ladies- I wouldn't date them!! Too much drama!!
