My commute from Sherwood to west Little Rock is getting hard, so I can imagine how expensive it is getting for the Cabot and Conway folks that are commuting to Little Rock every day. The bright side is that maybe this will slow down urban sprawl and bring everything back to the metropolitan core.
I agree. If Little Rock could improve its image, it could really help with the suburban flight. Most transplants who move here are scared to death of living in Little Rock, so Conway, Cabot, and Benton are popular choices.

Traffic can be insane at times, though, and that's what is usually the issue. Of course if one lives in Bryant they could be biased...
Compared to traffic in the Triangle area Little Rock will be a cake walk. There is no where near the amount of traffic on our freeways as they have. I recently moved here from Dallas and everyone seems to think they have major traffic issues in LR. I have news for them, traffic here is a breeze! Wrecks do occur and there are a couple of bottle necks but nothing and I mean nothing comes close to the traffic in Dallas or on the freeways around Raleigh. I go to Raleigh a few times a year so I have experienced it first hand.

I live in the Benton and Bryant area and it is 20 - 25 minutes to the Airport, it is clean , and safe with a better school district than Little Rock proper.
