Thankfully we dont have to worry about it at present but everyone knows the best time to buy a Convertible is in the Winter (and an AWD is in the Summer). What type of CAR do you have? Seems like RWD is coming back in a big way. I guess FWD isnt always the best option with all the torque steer and all, Im just not sure if AWD is worth it for LI with the drop in fuel economy. Seems like the Cops get around all year in those RWD Crown Vics?

What do you guys think?

Have?

You're leaving out trucks, however there are some RWD trucks out there.

No problems with any cars really, each requires a different driving style, maybe some different add-ons to help you.

i have had nothing but 4x4 and awd cars for the last 15 years and even though we dont need it that ofton its worth its weight in gold when you do,

becareful though, many systems calling themselves awd are really front wheel drive with a little extra assist when wheels slip. my sons murano is like that..we had to push it out of the snowy driveway....

while stoppig sucks on any thing the stability in the slop is something you have to feel to realize how bad front wheel drive is and rear wheel without 4 high quality snow tires belongs in the garage on slick days.
