Link to the forum with the post you supposedly pilfered. Because no one is buying your brand of fiction anymore.

And the fact that you keep coming back with multiple names again and again and trolling your pro-CV gospel (notice there are others here who are pro-CV who don't get any flack. It's all about the presentation and you, sir...have no presentation) is truly the sign of a disturbed mind.

Truthful summary:

Fios IS technologically better.
Fios IS NOT necessarily cheaper.
The Dolan's ARE evil.
Verizon IS evil too (ask anyone in NYC dependent on their backbone infrastructure).
BOTH manipulate trade (CV w/ MSG high def, Verizon w/ extorting from 3rd party DSL providers).
Fios fans ARE like squealing little girls who just met Justin Bieber.
CV fans ARE often in denial that they have a lesser service or know it and are just too busy, lazy, satisfied, cynical, apathetic, etc to change.

In some areas. In some, I'm sure they're not.

Absolutely. It all depends on the packages/services you get.

Evil....maybe. I'd prefer to say "self-motivated to the detriment of their client base".

Again, evil is a stretch. Let's say "performing to conglomerate standards".

Let's not overlook "satisfied". There's no crime in having a service and !!gasp!!! being satisfied. Heck, I applaud it (even if being happy is against the nature of the internet). But when certain people feel the need to only spread disinformation about a service they never owned to feel better about their own choices.....that's not satisfied. That's unbalanced.

Typical.

My post was pretty much a tongue in cheek response to the page after page of arguments on here. Frankly, I wouldn't mind switching but Fios head to head services are quoting me more $ and include start up fees. I am generally satisfied w/ CV (haven't capped my speeds, service has been consistent even through storms and such) and god forbid my wife has to learn a new remote and new channel guide?! That's a dealbreaker! Seriously, I'm fairly satisfied AND they lowered my price $40/mo for 2 years w/out much hassle. I had verizon in Brooklyn. I was fairly satisfied with them, too. I rarely fall too much in love with corporate behemoth utility companies. Call me weird.

Currently I am PO'd with Verizon and their CS. I am having an issue with them and they are insisting it's in my house. I have told them time after time that the issue is somewhere in their feed from the street to the house, or their wiring in the house.

What's happening:

ALL computers, tablets, etc either slow to a snails pace or lose WiFi simultaneously. (At that point, the iPad hops onto the 3G signal)

Verizon has sent out 'techs' who've 1) sliced a cable line into my children's portion of the house and who've 2) continued to claim it's interference in the house.

I've added NOTHING new since before the problem started.

Verizon sent me a new router.

No changes.

As much as I hate the idea of crossing to the dark side, I might head back to CV where I found I had better trouble shooting and no one tampering with other lines.
