Hi all

There is a sump (40 years old) behind my neighbors house. The propery between is supposed to be an access road to the sump but the town left it as grass. Well 40 years later the entire area is overgrown with trees, leaves, etc. The previous owner of the house next to me dumped some junk against my fence.

The sump itself has downed barbed wire fence and the entire sump are is full a grown trees.

I've called the town so many times over the past few years and they do nothing. A year ago they sent someone out to look at it. The guy said they would have to remove all the trees from the access road to get to the sump, and he said they would have to clean out the trees in the sump.

A year later still nothing gets done. I would think they would want to fix the fence to avoid a lawsuit if someone gets hurt on the barbed wire.

How the heck do you get them to just clean it up.
