I grew up in bellmore. I really liked it as a kid. Move out when I graduated high school (im 25 now) so I have no idea what its like now. It has a good school district though. Its close to the parkways as well.

Not every town has building apartments though...a lot of places have apartments in houses, basement apartments and the like.

if you are looking for building living, I would suggest lynbrook, rockville centre, and long beach.

maybe lynbrook. I have a studio apartment in long beach and I pay $600 a month but I own it (don't rent) and the only reason my payment is so low is b/c I put down a huge downpayment.
