I remember years ago I read online how the Greenbelt trail area had interesting sites--like 2 abandoned 1950s cars in the woods, and foundations to some really old buildings. But now I can't find anything at all about them. Can anyone tell me where on the trail these are?

They are north of the Smithtown landing golf course, in the direction of Arthur Kunz Park. I came across these pics awhile ago. I think the foundations may be in that area , I don't remember seeing them though, its been a couple years.

Thanks, is it right along the trail, or do I have to leave the trail to find these cars or the foundations? Also, I've never heard of Arthur Kunz park...?

The cars were pretty close to trail If I recall. Arthur Kunz is at intersection of Landing Rd and Landing Ave, where the sharp turn is, in San Remo. Entrance and sign is down that dead end portion of Landing Rd.

Those are not abandoned. That is where I park my cars when I'm not using them.
