This reminds me of an Eddie Murphey bit where he's talking about Elvis..."Lemonade, that cool, refreshing drink..." but anyway...most restaurants I've gone to have fountain lemonade like Country Time or Lipton Brisk Lemonade. I do like Simply Lemonade and you can find it in pretty much every grocery store or convenience store.
You'd be surprised once you try some good lemonade.
Mine is the best. Depending on the quality of the lemons available. In fact, when all I've got are lemons, I make lemonade.
Seriously some places down south seem better because they use their own blend of "simple sugar" (ie prediluted sugar) or mix sugar, honey, cane sugar or other groovy sweeteners. Bottom line is it's still lemons, sugar, water and ice....but what do I know, maybe some day I'll get to try some good lemonade.
for local retail stuff (decent, not great), try Panera.
Everytime I think of lemonade I think of the Little Rascals episode when Alphalfa sings and takes sip of the lemonade that the kids put shoe polish in. Now my throat hurts when I think of lemonade. Weird.
BTW, Southern Comfort does produce their own bottled Southern Comfort Lemonade and Southern Comfort Lime.
.
They stole that "recipe" from me!!
Have been making that lemonade since the early 70s! In those days, Southern Comfort was still 100 proof; since then, they've gone down to 80 proof and are currently at 70 proof (although last time I checked, dealers can still special order the 100 proof if you buy large enough quantity).
