Anyone know where gas is still available within 10 miles of Hicksville in Nassau? Thanks.

Try this site:

Fuel Price Mapping

Input the address of the area where you are, into the WEX fuel price mapping tool. A listing of recent fuel transactions will appear. In the far right column, look at the transaction time. If it is recent, that indicates that this station has fuel. If the time of the transaction is not very recent, this would indicate that the station may be out of fuel.

Noticing most Hess stations, at least in Suffolk, seem to have gas. A lot of other brands are all out.

Just came from the Hauppauge Mobil on the corner of Motor Parkway and the LIE.

MASS HYSTERIA.

Lines forming from every direction for at least a quarter mile, only accepting cash, lots of idiots who probably never got their own gas before - total insanity.

Every gas station I could find between Hauppauge and Ronkonkoma was out.

Why is there such a huge demand so soon? People didn't get gas before the storm like forewarned? Just for generators would be a different story.

Will this be the last time we'll see people laughing at the "huge lines everywhere" before a storm hits?
