Hey, C-D

I don't travel much to Long Island, I'm more of a queens person, I've visited Hempstead and Mineola, and I also remember going to Garden City some months back, and went into some Pizzeria(started with G) and they had one of the best spinach dips around.

I know Long Island is a more spaced out Manhattan, and i know things do sometimes get dull, but i just felt like going just for the sake of it.

So I'm just wondering for a whole 1 or 2 day visit to Long Island, what would you guys recommend going for fun activities, interesting food spots to try, new eateries, some site seeing, maybe some new shopping outlets

or basically anything new to do that Queens might not offer? I will also be taking the Long Island RailRoad, so any convenient and cool places to get off, would be helpful.

Thanks for your suggestion.

If you think that Long Island is a spaced out Manhattan, you will be very disappointed. Without a car, you will be highly limited. What do you wish to see? Farms? Wineries? Museums? Gold Coast Mansions? Beaches? Boating? Fishing? The Aquarium? An ecotourism boat tour? A 19th century Village for tourists?

I probably only said that because I'm not too familiar with the area, and i haven't explored all the parts thoroughly yet.

But it does seem sometimes inactive if you aren't in the right areas.

But yeah, anything worth exploring, billiards, museums, arts, gallery, good places to eat, maybe something unique of the likes of that. But nothing too pricey tho.

As a matter of fact, yeah, it was. How did you know? lol

But as far as the car thing goes, I have 25% off with Uber, so it's no issues, you guys just have to recommend me the spots and i will go to them !! As long they are worth going

Oh and I will be going alone by the way. So need some fun activities to do alone

You have to narrow your wishlist and your area. From the Queens border to the end, it's approximately 110 miles. Pick one experience of interest.
