I'd say Nassau County. You bring home the bacon; they burn it to a crisp!

Default way to go people

3 pages and maybe one response to the topic,is it me or is that a little rude? Sadly Long Island is not a hotbed for great bacon as far as I know, your standed diner or Ihop is okay but not memorable,if anyone has any long island places I for one would love to here about it,I am from Glendale originally and I love seeing things written about it,but that is not what this topic should be about.

Not really on LI. But I did recently do mail-order for bacon (we are not big bacon ppl at all). From place called Pig of the Month. It is thick and they have flavors. Some are seasonal. Got the Apple Pie bacon last month was fabulous! Maple syrup one had great Maple taste. Can get pricey as their shipping is on the high side. But worth it few times year.

The bacon on the Egg McMuffin is best. It's Canadian.
