My landscaper does my fall cleanup but this year I told him no. Money is tight and I cannot afford the $200 right now for the fall cleanup so I might use my leaf blower this weekend. I am not obsessed with leaf clean up though.

Since both my neighbors like to stink the street up with their damn fireplaces I don't rake leaves. I can't stand being outside smelling the dirty diaper wood they burn so screw them-they can have my leaves.

Maybe it's that the weather has been dry but I am seeing huge dust/dirt clouds when the landscapers use leaf blowers this year. The clouds travel several houses away and it's dirt, not leaf debris. The landscapers were working down my block and I saw dust passing over my car. I had to use my own blower to remove the layer of dust left on it.

I don't mind my next door neighbor who burns oak, cherry etc but every year in the fall the one across the street starts burning something that smells like old meadow muffins. Not asking him what it is because he was busted a few years ago for threatening his ex with a rifle.
