Nice to see Valley Stream thrown in there eh?

I'm glad to see other school districts getting some love in this competition, remember when it was only Ward Melville?

These three students made for an excellent team.

While WM usually has semifinalists in Siemens, it's Intel (formerly Westinghouse) which is the competition where is has set records for semifinalists and finalists in the past.

Oh, I thought Intel was now Siemens!

So those 3 kids from LI were working together as a team? Interesting.

No just two of them worked together (girl from Valley Stream and boy from Jericho).

Bill Crugnola, of Jericho High School, and Katie Mazalkova, of Valley Stream Central High School, were awarded the $30,000 scholarship in the team competition, while Jay Zussman, of Great Neck South High School, earned a $20,000 scholarship in the individual category

The kids who won the team competition did their work at Molloy College in RVC.
