Thinking of buying a house there. Is it an area on the upswing? Are there murders there?

Zombies sounds bad. Maybe I'll look elsewhere

Holbrook is a very nice area. See if you can access the local crime stats through an internet search. I think online newspapers would be helpful for the latest information.

OK area. Not real high crime, usually petty stuff like stolen radios or phones from a car.

Sachem district is ok, if you are top or bottom 10% you get lots of attention. The middle folks, not so much. Sachem is also in poor future financial shape, their graduating classes went down by hundreds, not too many new younger folks moving in.
