I was wondering if anyone was at Jones Beach yesterday. If so what the weather warm enough and how was the airshow? Do you have any photos to share?

Friends said it was real cold but temps are higher today.

Was also told the jets came at 2 instead of at the end. Anyone confirm? We don't want to miss that but don't want to stay 4 or 5 hours either.

We were visiting family in Seaford and saw the jets around 3:30. Not sure of start time.

Bethpage credit union sponsors the event.

Yesterday (Sunday), I was able to see the jets around 4 PM from Wantagh Park as the access to Jones Beach was closed off although many cars were already leaving the area prior to this time (so they could have opened up the access in my opinion!).

I hear there were actually 2 sets of jets. We saw what we thought were the Thunderbirds fly over our houses in middle Nassau around 3. We never made it due to full lots - we got onto Wantagh Pkwy at 1 and it was immediately a parking lot. People coming from Meadowbrook were turned around. Next year we're going to be there from the start.

This year the airshow schedule changed and it lasted until 5 PM which is later than past years as far I know.
