I looked for the Red moon last night and I could not find it. What happened? Did I miss anything?

Thanks.

Yes. There was a moon. It was red. Conversation over.

Yeah I guess you missed it, my wife and I viewed it from our backyard in Wantagh. It was a lunar eclipse, so you could see the shadow creeping across the moon and then when the moon was fully eclipsed it had a red color to it (it wasn't pitch black).

We read that the Earth was between the sun and the moon, but sunlight passes through the Earth's atmosphere. The only color in the spectrum that makes it through to the moon is red.

Thanks for being so rude. Someone woke up in the wrong side of bed.

This is a stupid post. Of course we saw it. There was a huge red moon out last night. The news was talking about it. It's all over the internet. The only way you couldn't have seen it was if you were inside or you physically didn't look up.

I wanted to see the red moon but my wife's white moon was blocking the window.

I saw part of the eclipse, but it wasn't red and it wasn't big- just a regular everyday Moon with a shadow....

I've seen some HUGE orange Moons [Honeymoons] come up over the horizon on summer nights, which were really impressive- but what I saw on Sunday night was nothing by comparison.

Lubby, I kind of suspect MAYBE one or two people took pictures.

I'm sure someone we know from here was watching it to see if a witch was flying across it......
