Then it's still socialized education. If you think that's not going to happen look at food stamp fraud. Look. The WORST parents (drug addicts, alcoholics , jail birds and drug dealers) still cannot stop or impede their children from getting a public education. Imagine handing a bad parent a voucher or rebate worth 5 to 10 k...... They could sell it for 2k cash and get high. Bottom line is that the most needy among us will be left out of the education process.

If the christian schools do use it then you can sell it only to them and why sould someone else buy it? Nobody could sell it because it would teach the children values that they know not to get high.

It would be handled by the districts just like the credits for kids attending schools are now. The parents would never even see it. Now if you want to suggest the districts miss spend that, I can't speak to that.

Socialized education is designed to save us from ourselves the same way social security does. Now I know ALL of you here on CD make 6 figures and have ivy education and know how to manage your money and assets . Let's talk about the vast group of Americans who don't. I would rather pay to educate their children because it becomes OUR problem if we don't. Slippery slope to becoming a third world nation.

The parent is responsible for transportation.

Sorry, it has nothing to do with the districts. If it comes to pass, it will be mandated to have each district administer it, just like the administration of cross district education of special needs students.

I wonder if vouchers can be used for Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches.
