Hi,
I am moving from Boston to East meadow. I will be driving Uhaul 17 truck. I need to find out what route should i be taking. Per the google map, i have to take Cross Island Pkwy as well as Northern Sate PKWY and Wantag Sate PKWY. I am not sure whether i can take the Pkwy or not and if not then what direction would i be following. I am very confused. Please help me if anyone can.
Parkways do not allow any trucks such as uhaul. You will get a ticket if you drive on the parkway.

I would say go through 95 to 695 to 295 then 495
Get off at 41S (Levittown) Jerusalem Ave, turn to Newbridge Road to East Meadow.
Here you go, I made a route

Thank you very much.
I am travelling to 2201 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, NY 11554
should i still be taking exit 41 on 495E? How did you make this route. When i search on google, it ask me to take Pwky from 495?
i will be taking 695 to 295 and then taking cross island pkwy for 4 miles and then taking 495 E and then Northern Sate Pkwy and Wantag State parkway
No, you won't.
Commercial vehicles are not allowed on parkways, and that UHaul is a commercial truck. I drive a full sized service van with commercial plates, and can't take them either.
I live in Bellmore, which is south of East Meadow. When I come home on the LIE (I495), I take exit 39, follow the service road to Post Rd, and take it south. It turns into Merrick Ave and goes through East Meadow.
No commercial vehicles are permitted on the Cross Island Parkway, the Northen State Parkway or the Wantagh Parkway. Follow the directions provided by JB from NC. Google is giving you directions for a car, not a commercial vehicle.

And if you do you will be taking a hefty hit to you wallet. No truck on the parkways. You have one choice which is the Cross to the LIE and follow th perviously given directions. There are other ways of going but this is the quickest in terms of no lights.

Are you trying to screw the guy? He cannot take the Cross Island but must stay on 295 which becomes the Clearview Expressway coming off the Throgs Neck Bridge. Then he gets on the LIE. I'd take it to exit 39 like JB does.

Can't take the Cross Island either. It's a parkway as well, no commercial vehicles.
if it has the words parkway attached you cannot take it . expressways are fine .
clearview expressway from throgs neck bridge to long island expressway
