I've sold hundreds of houses. No attorney will let their clients allow a pressure test. A soil test, yes. Pressure tests no way.

I would certainly abandon if you plan on selling. It isn't a question of will it be an issue. It will. And you may still be asked to allow your buyer to do a soil test.

That’s why houses with underground tanks should be taken by the government and knocked down. They shouldn’t let people sell houses with underground oil tanks.
