I had to learn all that sanitary and health crap when I was in the pool business.
I would have to think twice between jumping in a hot tub or a cesspool.
Hot tubs are *that* gross.
As someone formerly in the pool & spa industry I highly advise against placing your body in a public hot tub.
Hell, I advise against any hot tub. Even your own.
That’s ridiculous. Germs all all over the place. If you sanitize your tub properly you are fine. As for public ones if you are a germaphobe I guess stay away, add pools to that list while you are at it, and the beach.
