Even not for profit clinics charge more than $30. $60 is pretty low end around here. $70-$85 about the going rate. As with people, the vet stuff isn't nearly as bad as the cost for shots and meds which turn an $80 visit into $240 in the blink of an eye.

My vet gives me options when available.
If the same medication or whatever is available cheaper theyll throw that out there.
Like "if you get it from us it's $XX but you can get it on chewy for $X"
I think that's pretty cool of them.

I think that's pretty cool of them.
A lot of meds you can also get cheap with coupons from a regular drugstore.
