It's not that hard to cut your own hair if you are a man with short hair. Just use a really good buzzer. My husbands hair does not come out perfect and I do the back part and his neck. He works from home so he has no one to impress. A woman's hair is different and for that I go to lemon tree.

I do occasionally cut or trim my own hair which is usually not that hard to do on the top and sides. It's back I have a problem with or harder to do. My hair usually varies from being a little short when it's first cut then growing it to medium or a little long by the time I get it cut again.

My hair is pretty short but my barber uses the scissors far more than a buzzer. I don’t go for the military look. Wouldn’t look good on me. I’m married, so I also have no one to impress but I see people everyday at work so I can’t look foolish.

I guess the term marriage means letting yourself go

Not at all. I wear the same size pants I did in high school (34” waists” and generally look the same. How did you get that I let myself go from my saying I am married? I look the same, except a bit older.

Imo. Here is very useful advice. Stay away from female Barbers. They are the worst at cutting men's hair. Never met one that can cut a man's hair properly. They are butchers.
