Suffolk CPS. They knew, the cops knew, everyone and their 3rd cousin seemed to know. Plan on a tax hike to cover another liability lawsuit Suffolk is going to lose.
Yep Everyone knew. The school filed several CPS complaints and nothing was done. The mother begged for help and nothing was done.
If he goes to jail, he will do his time and will be loose again.
Also If he qualifies for a pension, I hope the biological mother gets to enjoy every single pennies.
There are several links of video that the mother took of the boys, one including the father manhandling one of the kids as he returned him to her. So sad that people worry about the things they do, and this is going on while nothing is done. School also documented it as well. Safe to say the system failed this poor child.
EVERYONE failed these kids. It seems the mother's helper tried, but what about the neighbors who heard the "father" shouting at the boys and pushing them around physically? They also heard the step witch telling the boys to run in front of the school bus to stop it?
WORSE - the kids went to school every day, underfed, underweight, with black eyes, and drenched in urine. The professionals at school - teachers, nurse, social worker and school psychologist are ALL MANDATED REPORTERS. No one tried hard enough.
This little boy died a horrible death and lived a miserable existence. How can anyone be so cruel and evil?
My heart breaks.
I hope justice is swift and firm and they are both put in the general population.
No mercy was shown to Thomas. Why should any the shown to this diabolical duo?
And you can also thank these ass clowns for raising your taxes and making life a living hell every time your kid goes to school with a band aid.
Government and public agencies on double top secret major overload damage control now.
Already threatening more staffing, protocol and such so they don't lose their jobs, I mean so this never happens again. We all know what increased man hours, additional staffing and resources means.

Look, I know cops and I know people who worked for CPS. CPS is understaffed and underpaid. I have no doubt about that. It's a thankless job. Nobody calls CPS "heroes" when they simply do their jobs correctly, because when they do their jobs correctly, people lose their kids. Can't say the same for PD's in Nassau and Suffolk. Not understaffed, not underpaid.
Edit: So everyone can take their outrage about CPS and put it to good use: Go sign up and do the job for few months.
We'll see how long you last.
