He added 7 MORE strict "goals" a region in NY has to have. So now hes breaking apart NY all in the name of saving lives, but hes the one who created the nursing home corona virus with his executive order forcing them back in the nursing home. thousands of deaths but thats another story.

its a complete disaster. And now hes added 7 more things that makes it impossible to open.

The opening guidelines are on the NYS site, which 8 are you speaking to and what’s your issue.

Moreover, the period during which the patients shed the virus, and were potentially contagious, was shorter."

yes its the same ones we are talking about. Its to strict. It makes it impossible for small business to open. Also as soon as one week it goes over or under 1 of cuomos goals we enter lockdown again

Explain to me why businesses will stay in NY with rules like this. Also, the CDC guidelines for masks and social distancing have expired already on a federal level. there is no need to create more rules.

Today the White House's national physical (social) distancing guidelines—"15 days and 30 days to slow the spread"—expired, leaving the opening of states now in the hands of governors who are attempting to balance public health guidelines, the realities of testing, and mounting economic pressure to reopen communities.

Hard to have hair cutters and nail salons leave the state, no?

As to expiry of the guidelines Trump has made it clear the states can set their own timetable.

Once again, which ones are too strict and what would you change specifically.

The CDC guidelines are still in effect for phased reopening, states do not have to use them but they should have a logical reason.

Not sure what any of these arm chair patriots are talking about. COVID numbers in Nassau are still GOING UP according to the daily #'s I see. Some of it is testing I'm sure, but really not enough testing increase to change the daily tally for weeks which remains slowER but stilll growing. And I don't just mean Hempstead, I mean E Meadow, Levitt, Hicksville, big areas. #'s up every day since the start. Fewer deaths and hospitalizations, but more positive cases. These towns are chock full of first responders and essential workers. Nassau County is farrrrr from out of the woods yet.

We are starting to reopen Friday at 5 pm. Curious how it will go because a lot of people here are still like “nah”. But the NCDHHS has some great graphs available explaining ALL the data. I’m not going anywhere. But I will be watching closely.
