You have every right to be concerned about this. It puts a strain on the school system and various town services. And taxpaying homeowners who don't rent out their homes/turn them into flophouses end up paying the bill so it's not just simply a nuisance issue.

Has definitely crossed my mind but after rain, blowing leaves, etc I feel like the nails will be all over the place and ill be the unlucky one that gets a flat

Ive seen people do somthing like this to stop neighbors from mowing their lawn but nothing to stop cars out front. If you ever make somthing share it with us
