As for Dr. Seuss, several things. First, it's just false to say "there isn't a racist thing" about him. Go look up his WW2-era political cartoons. Here's an example of him claiming that Japanese Americans were disloyal Fifth Columnists and liberally using the buckteeth trope.

To be fair, I believe people should be judged by the standards of their times, and also, later in life Dr. Seuss apologized for his wartime cartoons. So I agree that the books shouldn't have been pulled, which gets us to...

...Second, there doesn't appear to have any #wokemob that called for the books to be removed. It was apparently Dr. Seuss's Estate that voluntarily agreed to pull 6 of his books. That's their business decision; it doesn't mean they got #cancelled by some external force.

So to be clear, I'm not calling you "paranoid" about #cancelculture. But I am calling you a wimp for being too afraid to just be yourself.

Let him come to C-D for the free therapy. That's what most posters do.
