I love it when they blow all that stuff into the street and the cars that pass by blow it back onto their lawns. Then they wonder why they have to keep using the leaf blower so much.
There's like one week in early March when things are nice...warm weather, you can actually hear the birds, fresh air. That's over. It's really one of the dumbest inventions ever. We intentionally turn our neighborhoods into industrial/war zones filled with noise, fumes, and stirred up crap in the air. For what? So things look a little "neater"? Not really...lawnmower, rake, broom work fine. Was the island a filthy mess in the 1950s before these stupid things were used? Most would argue the island was actually neater back then.
Towns up in Westchester are beginning to ban them. Imagine how peaceful and quiet it must be there all summer! I plan to move there when the prices drop due to the county being so messy due to a lack of leaf blowers.
/\ that blower has some serious power. First time I tried it was very surprised. Once my ancient gas blower dies I’ll definitely look into getting this.
