Panicked at a red light camera intersection, jammed on brakes as light turned, and stopped with front of the car just over the white line. One flash from the camera.
Is a ticket coming ? Do people actually review these videos ?
Suffolk county.
TIA

There are more sensors generally that get tripped when you go through or don’t fully stop when turning …just curb line won’t get a ticket.

You need to be captured in photo center span with the red light as well

I thought it was three flashes from what I been told (before during after the red light)If you notice you’ll see the cameras flash randomly on a car that approaches quick but stops in time. One flash you might be ok.

I'm guessing a solid no ticket. Have gone over the line many times because I don't like to hit my brakes hard (especially now that I have RightTrack monitoring installed for another month). I've been flashed before and never a ticket. Hell I've gone through a no turn on red at a camera intersection (light was stuck for well over 5 minutes)... and no ticket. Someone has to be reviewing them.

I got a red light ticket once 55 days after the date on the ticket. That was in Queens so it may be different for Long Island. I believe they have to show you a picture of the car completely in the intersection past the red light so I would guess you will not get a ticket. The light flashing doesn’t necessarily mean you will get a ticket. Once I had a left turn arrow and the camera light flashed as I made the turn. The photos are reviewed.
