What is the typical realtor commission or fee these days? I have a house that will be very easy to sell. Well located, well maintained, move in condition. Will sell for about $1M, on the lower end of a hot neighborhood with no inventory. Are they still getting 6%? Are professional photos and marketing included in their commission?

Commissions are negotiable and are typically between 4-6%.
If you want more than just be listed on MLS, you will most likely be on the higher end (which could include professional photos, videos, drone shots, special marketing materials, etc.). Ask what will be included!

Just out of curiosity how much does it cost for photos, videos, drone shots and marketing materials? From 4% to 6% on $1M is $20K…..

You can offer 2%(2.5% if co-broke) and there will be an agent to accept it, thats what I did.

Uh, no it's worse than that - check your math.

If it's that easy of a sale, why not just sell it yourself?

When I sold in 2018 my place was similar move in ready no inventory middle of the road pricing and desirable area. I was told 4% is lowest so that’s what we did. Of course we offers well over ask 1st day on market. No need to pay a penny over 4%.

Did that 4% include everything, or did you pay for anything else separately (photos, staging, etc)?
