He's (or she's) talking about LIVS in Plainview. I had a bad experience there with one of their emergency vets. One of my cats was falling over when she tried to walk. He told me she had a heart problem and recommended thousands of dollars worth of tests, put her on a heart medication, and then recommended I put her down when she wasn't improving. I brought her to a different vet for a second opinion, and it turned out she just had a middle ear infection -- nothing wrong with her heart. A few days on antibiotics ear drops and she was good as new.

Oh boy, doesn't sound like a good place at all. I am out of the loop with vets since I haven't had one in many years, but now trying to research again. Thanks for all this info.
Stay away from li vet specialist in Plainview.
That place should be shut down. A huge red flag is a vet that has a lawyer on speed dial to deal with there complaints from it's customers and the state .
You have been warned !
I second that. They are money grubbing thieves without skill, compassion or knowledge.

I had a terrible experience there too. Just awful. Please DM me with the vet that cured your cat. Thank you. chattyneighbor
Not sure if your dog had surgery yet but if not, Dr. Infernuso at Animal Surgical Center is amazing! He performed 3 surgeries on my dog…she tore both ACL’s…one at 4 years old and the next at 11 years old..she’s a lab so I was worried when she was 11 years old to put her through surgery…she did great! Then 6 months after that surgery she had a huge lump…I took her to my regular vet and she wasn’t confident she’d be able to remove the entire mass…it was in a really difficult area bc it’s by the armpit and when she walks there we’re a lot of moving parts..I took her to Dr. Infernuso and he removed the entire mass, it came back as cancerous so I’m relieved I used him rather than my vet who didn’t feel confident if she did the surgery. Dr. Infernuso is an amazing surgeon!highly recommend him. Good luck to you and your fur baby. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to PM me.
I have a year old dog and she was born with her knee joint falling out and not going back. Four vets said she needs surgery. Never had to do this search. Taking a chance someone one here knows somebody good.
This place saved my dog's life 20 yrs. ago, when another vet said he couldn't see her "until Monday". Had I waited, she would have died of a pyometra. I am not sure if the vet that performed emergency surgery on her, on a weekend is still there, but our experience there was unusually positive.
