Any good car wash places with consistent good service in Nassau? I feel like many places have iffy reviews. Right now looking for something in west Nassau but open to anything solid that doesn’t charge an arm and leg. Thanks!

Depends on your area/where you are willing to travel

There are a few along sunrise hwy in Nassau

There is a car wash/gas station in Freeport on sunrise
Also a decent car wash in Bellmore
And a hand car wash on sunrise in Wantagh as well

I am sure the poster knows that so why respond with an answer like this? What if he rents an apartment and has no access to a hose? You don’t know their situation.

Don't you know that anyone that DIY's in Nassau is considered a filthy plebian?

I usually wash my cars myself. I do a better job and get less scratches that way. Only if its very cold will I use a car wash. at $25 a pop its a bit expensive. I remember car washes being $5 in queens back in the day.

It's cheaper, yes. I have all the stuff to do so. But it sucks trying to wash a car in a NY winter. And it takes at least an hour, if not more, to do it well - longer if you want to do a better job than the car wash.

Five Corners in New Hyde Park is my go-to.
