In addition to the curve, the westbound entrance ramp from Lakeville Road is fairly short and serves as both the entrance ramp for cars merging onto the NSP as well as cars exiting from the NSP to Lakeville Road south. Cars leaving the NSP often have to slow down to find a space between cars entering the NSP. There’s a fair amount of traffic to and from Lakeville Road because of LIJ and other offices in Lake Success.
