The vaccine protects people from ending up in a hospital or deceased just like any other vaccine. Yes medical scientists indicate the vaccine will lessen the impact if you fo contract it but you know better than John’s Hopkins or many of the other research hospitals, you should consider publishing a paper with your research.

No way you can possibly prove that. It's not possible. There is zero way you or any doctor can tell if it's the vaccine lessened the symptoms or someone's immune system just fought it off, as the VAST majority of those that contracted COVID did. Vaccine or no.

Here is the relevant section of Pfizer's Covid results presented to the FDA in early May. This is the only double-blind study of Pfizer's Covid shot on a population that was NOT wearing masks or social distanced.

Vaccine Efficacy % (95% CI)
6-23 Months of Age - 75.5% (-370.1, 99.6)
2-5 Years of Age - 82.3% (-8.0, 98.3)

So, Pfizer states unequivocally, that the calculated efficacy is in the 80% range but if they ran the same experiment on a population of the same size they would have a 95% probability of them calculating an efficacy somewhere in the range of -370 to 99. The negative numbers above mean the population had higher rates of infection from being vaccinated.

Pfizer's own results state unequivocally that they don't know if the vaccine works.

If you are going to reference the benefits of hospitalization rates for the vaccinated, don't bother, those results you read about are just studies after the fact, not verifiable experiments.

If you wonder how did Pfizer get the original 95% efficacy rate? Easy, the population was masked, socially distanced and staying home.

When you have the potential to make $20-30B off of the government's largesse you'll tell them what they want to hear.

Well written! Explains exactly how it’s pretty much not provable at this point that the vaccine works. In terms of “stopping the spread” it was obviously a dismal failure

How will a vaccine prevent COVID-19?
The coronavirus that causes COVID-19 has spikes of protein on each viral particle. These spikes help the viruses attach to cells and cause disease. Some of the coronavirus vaccines are designed to help the body “recognize” these spike proteins and fight the coronavirus that has them.

An effective vaccine helps protect the person who receives it from serious illness, hospitalization and death. Widespread vaccination will help limit spread through communities and will restrict the virus’s opportunity to continue to mutate into new variants.

It's a natural progression into climate change, vaccines and masks. I guess this is why we had Jan 6.

Geeeez. Climate change? Masks? What's next Roe V Wade? I thought this thread was about 1/6? It's about half the country wanting an end to democracy as long as they are the Junta on charge.
