Guess what. It mattered. You snatched defeat from the jaws of victory with going all in on being an election truther. Zeldin lost. So what's the plan? Say he really won for another couple of years? It's a losing game. There SHOULD have been a red wave. We Democrats are HORRIBLE right now. Yet you want to triple down on 1/6 being a picnic.

This is a deep blue state with a 2 to 1 Dem to GOP registration. 2 to 1. ANY gop candidate is fighting a massive uphill battle from the word go. The fact that Zeldin only lost by a few points, and by virtue of him being on the ballot swept the entire house delegation on LI and most of HRV seats upstate without which the GOP probably wouldn’t grab the house is amazing in itself. He even flipped enough state senate seats to kill the dems supermajority. If it really mattered it should have been a blue tsunami down the ballot, sorry it really doesn’t. Time to move on.

LI is now 4 of 4 in terms of Republican Congressperson. A red LI wave.

NYC is hopeless (remember, they voted DeBlasio. Twice. Not a misprint.)

Not only did they re-elect deblasio, but they re-elected him with an abysmal approval rating. That’s the kind of voters that are in NYC

Yes Zeldin won the primary by a large margin, popular among republicans due to the MAGA heads but still a loser in the election partly because of his inability to accept democratic elections and Trump's support. Same for Stefanik that found out being a moderate is not in the best interests of advancing her career, better to support Trump.

You are missing my point. Why run a campaign to complain and whine about who is a registered voter? HE WOULD HAVE WON if he denounced 1/6. That's it. Couldn't even do that. Hell i would have voted for him if was his own man. That trump worship is not going to win NY. The goal is to win the governorship and aligning with trumps nonsense was not in his best interest and he knew it.

lol you are truly delusional. Blue voters gonna vote blue PERIOD. Denounce 1/6 would have made 0 difference again voters could care less about 1/6 it barely hit the radar in exit polling. Again if 1/6 was such a big deal to so many why wasn’t it a blue tsunami? Why didn’t Zeldin lose by 30 points and LI flip blue??

Obviously, the both of you were part of a majority, and while I never will say that I hate NY, I will say that better you than me living with her as governor..
at least she’s not a serial sexual predator like Cuomo, I guess.
