I am seeing alot of business closing around here.. I thought we made so much money we could afford all these places..
How about Adventureland Amusement Park in Melville, driving through Dairy Barn and does anyone else remember roller skating on Saturday nights at Jones Beach?
The dollar movie theatre was in the village of Northport on Main Street - there was a parking lot on a huge hill across the street and you had to walk down a long wooden staircase to get down to Main Street. The Elwood Cinema was a different one in the Elwood Shopping Center near the corner of Jericho Tpke and Elwood Rd.
this was the first restaurant I went to with my friends when i was 18, lol...i remember having shrimp, steak and a baked potato with plenty of alcohol....
There was also a location in Stonybrook but the original was at Walt Whitman Mall. The salad bar was enormous and so were the lines to get in especially on a Saturday night
