Hi:

Does anyone know the salary (starting and max out) for someone working in a catholic/private school. I know a few years ago it was starting in the upper twenties but I never new if it stayed the same or if they had a salary schedule as in the public school system. Also, do they get a pension or just the standard 401k? I would really appreciate any information on this. The school is on the North Shore if that helps.
Thanks!

Are you planning on working in an elementary school in the Diocese of Rockville Centre or a High School? The High Schools and some elementary schools are independantly run, may times by the Jesuits. The pay scales would be quite different.

Hi:

It's St. Dominics do you know it? It's in Oyster Bay. I'm not sure if it's run by jesuits. If it is run by Jesuits does that make it more expensive or less?
