wow - - I spent about 25 years there and I never knew there was a "Douglaston-side" to a road on the bay - - only ever used to look over there from the "Bayside-side".....sort of like Jay Gatsby I guess.....
I lived in Bay Terrace since 1959, sure changed a lot.
how so? I lived there from 1962-1991....Belle Bay to Bayside Condominiums to Bell Boulevard Apts. behind 169...fill me in on your thoughts....but I really miss the old shopping center and bowling alley when I go back there occassionally......
