What are the differences between these 2 colleges in terms of tuition, programs, environment, etc. Any info on both colleges would be helpful. What do u like about either college? Any recommendations and why.

In terms of academics and reputation, there's no contest - Hofstra is significantly better.

What program(s) are you thinking of taking?

If you are thinking of law school, for instance, don't bother with either if you want a job in corporate law or Biglaw. If you want your own small practice (accidents, immigration, etc.), then I suppose it would be okay.
