Not sure if I need a plumber or someone who deals with dishwashers specifically. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Just buy a new one. Mine started acting up so I ripped out the old one and put a new one in. $200-250.

If you are having problems with the water connection to the dishwasher, a plumber can help. But if you are having problems with a dishwasher itself, its an appliance issue and a plumber cannot help. Contact sears to see if they can repair your brand, and how much it costs. You might be better off buying a new one.

I was going to suggest Sears as well. At least it's a place to start.
