...would you still think they were overpaid?

Interesting question now that Heroin(and the Gangs that traffic it) kill more than just about anything on LI (except cancer of course).

I for one would begrudge them nothing.

I gotta say, as it stands right now they are definitely losing the war.

Im not sure about that.

We do have a really good Police force on LI.

If they focused their resources on those 2 things for 2 years I bet they could make a significiant dent.

(And get some much needed good PR to boot)

Will never happen. They can only try to control it. As long as there is demand, there WILL be supply.

Not until they start rounding up the illegals will our crime decrease. But the political will isn't there. Levy's been a complete dissapointment. Talk about a complete change of course...

The illegals? There have been 600 heroin related arrests since January and the demographic for them? White males age 20-30...just saying. The illegals are an issue but not the only one.

Dosent matter because it won't happen. The drug issue is a federal issue, secure the borders and the heroin, cocaine, etc can't get in. That being said, heroin is created from poppy seeds, do you know where poppy seeds come from? AFGHANISTAN ... the money being generated by Long Island heroin addicts is being used to fund the Taliban to help them kill our troops and blow up innocent civilians in Afghanistan. Opioid seed production is a huge source of income for the Taliban.

Heroin users = traitors
