Seanx4...I actually can only think of 4 bars in downtown Babylon. Can you post the other ones, maybe Im missing something.
there's 2-3 directly south across the street from the station that are often overlooked. They seem to change names/owners every few years. There's also one just north of the tracks by the western part of the platform.
then there's the more popular ones like the PO and Mary's, Argyle, Horace and Sylvia's...plus the Carriage House and whatever the Clam and Oyster Bar changed its name too.

They opened up a great new wine bar in Babylon called Barrique. Amazing Sangria!
my friend used to own FLATLINER/THE ALLEYWAY in Massapequa. It was packed all the time, mainly with neighborhood kids and friends. he even had joey buttafucco guest bartend there and it was all over the news. well, he was looking to unload it a year later and had buyers coming in. one guy offered him 10% above asking price because he saw how hopping it was. the thing was that the bar was always filled with the owners friends. when the new owner came in, the places was empty once again.
Ah yes..forget about those 2 by the station. I dont think they are the ones that people are talking about when they say..lets hit up Babylon for some beers. lol.
