Harbor green and Nassau shores are the best areas. Anything east of Carmen mill rd goes to amityville. North Massapequa goes to plainedge or farmingdale.

East Massapequa is one of those many villages and hamlets on Long Island where none of the places in the community have the hamlet name in their mailing address: places in the Hamlet of East Massapequa have a "Massapequa, NY 11758", "Massapequa Park, NY 11762" and "Amityville, NY 11701" mailing address.

There are 195 hamlets on Lawn Guyland (as well as 2 cities and 96 villages), and are you suggesting that the majority of these 195 hamlets are dumps?

No but a Hamlet is no better than any other area.
