I don't understand what all the fuss is about. It's expensive and the food is mediocre. My wife's steak was burned and they didn't even offer to replace it...they just apologized. What the hell?
Would never go back.
Go to Vinnie's Mulberry Street in East Islip instead. Never had a bad meal there, ever. And it is more affordable.
Irish Coffee Pub is the BOMB! We have all of our family Events here, Sadly we just had my Mom's Final Party here after her Enturnment at her request. Mom had my Bridal and Baby shower in this Place,,Service and Food YUMMY & always Flawless. Staff very attentive and caring. Great LI Establishment! Never a dissapointment! Two Thumbs up!
They also run the resturant at the Bellport Golf Club. Of course I am biased, being irish, but we have never been dissappointed in either place.
Its well worth every penny.

I Do like the restaraunt at the bellport country club. the food there rocks. Great view also.
I will reiterate - it is overpriced and overrated. I will never go back.
That's nice, but no matter how many times you write this your opinion only counts once. And it look like more people have great reviews than bad ones, and that is rare in today's age.
Plus, comparing them to Vinnie's shop is not a good comparison, they make two totally different types of food. Mulberry street makes amazing Italian food and has a Sicilian slice to die for, but you're comparing it to an Irish/American restaurant.
The fish at Irish Coffee Pub is out of this world, and I don't really care for fish. However, I wouldn't go there and order Penne Alla Vodka and expect much out of it.

Went to the restaurant at the Bellport Country club in early December. It wasn't crowded, the service was mediocre but the food was good. My only disappointment was that some of my favorites from the ICP weren't on the Bellport menu.
I believe the service problem was exacerbated by the wedding downstairs. Which leads me to an odd thing...the wedding cocktail hour appeared to be situated in the foyer of the building, leaving the restaurant patrons to walk through the edge. One of the wedding wait staff offered me food; I politely declined and indicated I was heading upstairs.
