In field 1, where the park office is, what is the center part that has what looks like doors locked down? For years that has always been closed, just wondered what it was. This is the area where you walk through to go to the beach.
LOL. I thought I saw a lace of a sneaker hanging out.
funny side story: in our kitchen one wall has wood wainscoating, which has a panel built into it to access the pipes for the shower on the other side of the wall... one of the screws had loosened up holding the panel and i had never got to tightening it, so the panel was slightly open... for years i had my kids believing that that's where i had put all my previous bad children, and that they needed to behave or they would join them in the wall... they don't believe that any more and threaten to put me in the wall these days
and back on topic: i don't know what's in that building
If it's what I'm thinking of I believe it's Maintainence materals, cones. etc..
It's funny , I go there all the time and always say to myself "I wonder what's in that place" .. lately the building is becoming more and more decrepit . If I had to guess, it was once used as a place to rent beach umbrellas and such . The side of the building facing the Sound looks pretty disgusting these days.

I think you may be right. And yes, that part behind it is falling apart.
