Hi
I'm new here, just wondering--I have a parking ticket that is due in 2 days and don't really want to pay by web or phone because of the $2.00 "(what) service fee". If I mail out the check and it is postmarked before it's due, will it be "on time"--i.e. I won't get charged a late fee? It doesn't say on the parking website. Thanks!`

I was wondering the same exact thing, I tried paying online, but didn't think it's right for them to ask for another 3.95, after they are ripping you off for a ticket, I received just a few minutes before the stupid allotted time, anyhow. I decided to purchase a money order and mail out my payment two days before the 21 calendar days, and it falls on a Saturday, so the clerk @ post office said it would get there in time, by Monday, which was the due date, but the postmark will read two days before the due date, I wonder wonder, how it's going to go, they did not state it anywhere, why, because I know it's another one of their scams, they don't state that on purpose so you pay that extra fee for them to process the payment, what a scam, no one eve does that, no website ever charges you to make a payment if you are paying with your credit/debit card, how ridiculous! They don't say it for a reason, I was searching for that too, everywhere for the City of Glendale, CA, they are the toughest people to deal with, the cops always breathing down people's throats, I've seen how they harass them non stop, it is a reputation they've made for themselves and I can't stand it! Does anyone know? if it'll be ok ? My parking ticket was $ 52.00 ouch, hurt a lot, I'm not working. I almost cried.

Did you try simply calling the clerks office and asking?
