I'm looking at apartments in the area. From some of the research I've done so far, it appears that the area, especially the surrounding ares of the park, were gang infested.

Can anyone tell me how things are now? If the are has improved? Any feedback would be great.

Thanks!

i don't spend much time up that way, but canoga park is definitely not considered desirable as far as valley communities go.

Certain parts of Canoga Park are nice (South of Victory Blvd and west of Topanga Canyon). You could also look at surrounding cities such as Woodland Hills, West Hills and Calabasas.

I'm pretty sure that is Woodland Hills and not Canoga Park.

You are indeed right Charles, that is Woodland Hills. Victory is the border.

Anyone remember when Lanark Park was called Orchid Park? Maybe Charles, I am not sure he is old enough though. I know I am...sigh

To the OP, have you looked down in Warner Center for apartments?

No, I don't remember it being Orchid Park, but I do remember when the name changed from Orcutt Park to Lanark Park. I'm guessing that was the mid 1960s. The original Orcutt Ranch is still there at Justice, March, and Roscoe.

You are right, I stand corrected
